The Summer Youth Theater will present Snow White and the Dancing Dwarfs at the Mesquite Community Theater this weekend. Showtimes will be Friday, June 14 at 7 pm; Saturday, June 15 at 1 pm and and again on Saturday at 7 pm.
Directing the cast of 32 young cast members will be Mitzi Bender. All actors in this production are between the ages of 5-12.
Last week, choreographer Joy Craig was working diligently with the kids in learning dance steps during concentrated rehearsal times..
Serving as Music Director in the production is Cindi Good and Christy Linberg is light and sound coordinator. Bethany Green and a five-person team is in charge of the set designs. They were all busy in the theater lobby creating trees for the onstage forest.
Nyah Teerlink, who is playing Snow White in the production, was practicing her songs.
The play is sure to be delightful. You won’t want to miss it.
Tickets are available on line at mctnv.com or at the box office this week from Monday through Thursday, 11:30 am – 1pm. They will also be on sale one hour before each showtime. Tickets are no longer available at the Mesquite Fine Arts Center.
Admission is $16 for adults and $12 for children.
