About Us

The Mesa Valleys Progress has been a community news voice for northeastern Clark County since 1987. It is the longest running newspaper in the area. We pride ourselves on being an independently-owned local news source.

The Progress is family-owned and locally run. We are committed to retaining a local small-town feel by keeping news coverage focused on the community, and by making the newspaper highly accessible to residents.

The Progress is an 11 ¼” x 22” five column broadsheet newspaper distributed weekly every Tuesday. The primary distribution area for the Progress includes the greater Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley areas including the communities of Mesquite, Bunkerville, Overton, Logandale, Moapa, Glendale, Warm Springs, Echo Bay in Nevada and Scenic, Littlefield and Beaver Dam in Arizona.

Total distribution is currently 5300 distributed to news stands throughout the city of Mesquite and the township of Bunkerville, the Moapa Valley and the Moapa Band of Paiutes Reservation.

The Progress also receives thousands of visitors each week online and through its digital newsletter.
