Lin’s held its annual Holiday Open House on Friday, November 12. The store was filled with the smells and the sounds of the season.
Local talent performed during the festival. Starting off the festivities were the Mack Lyon Cheerleaders, who performed a variety of acrobats and cheers.Alicia Silva performed on the guitar and sang. The Mack Lyon Orchestra performed, followed by the Mack Lyon Jazz Band.
Other performers included Kristine Leach, Becca Caldwell, The Starter’s Band, and Ben Muhlestein, the Calvary Praise Band, Tony and Kelsey Carson, and the Moapa Valley Children’s Choir.
One of the highlights of the day included the Paiute Dancers performing in Native American Dress.
Other activities included a cake walk, held periodically throughout the day. Another favorite was the trivia quiz where Darin Leach, Store Manager, would ask guests a holiday trivia question. The first to answer correctly won a prize.
Each department is geared up and ready to go for the holidays. Look for special holiday deals throughout the holiday season.
Lin’s is offering several holiday promotions right now. The Turkey Bucks program, running through Thanksgiving, has been so popular that the store ran out of the actual bucks. Store management assures that customers can redeem un-initialed receipts in place of Turkey Bucks.
The Dash for Cash program will run through the month of December.
