About Us
The Progress has been a community news voice for the communities of northeastern Clark County since 1987. It is the longest running newspaper in the area. We pride ourselves on being an independently-owned local news source.
The Progress is owned by a partnership company made up of local residents who have ancestral ties to the community going back a century. Articles in The Progress are written and edited by local residents. The Progress is committed to retaining a local small-town feel by keeping its news coverage focused on the community, and by making the newspaper highly accessible to its residents.
The Progress is an 11 ¼” x 22” five column broadsheet newspaper distributed weekly every Tuesday.
The primary distribution area for the Progress includes the greater Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley areas including the communities of Mesquite, Bunkerville, Overton, Logandale, Moapa, Glendale, Warm Springs, Echo Bay in Nevada and Scenic, Littlefield and Beaver Dam in Arizona.
