David Neet
David Leonard Neet passed away in his home in St. George Utah surrounded by family on December 29, 2012. He was born August 28, 1939 in Eugene, Oregon to Leonard Bernard Neet and Katherine Davida Soderstedt. In February 1964 he married Roberta Petersen in Springfield, Oregon. They were later divorced and he married Elna Jean Earl on June 30, 1978 in Tillamook, Oregon.
He served in the United States Coast Guard and held local, state and U. S government jobs throughout the Pacific Northwest and Las Vegas Nevada. He resided in Logandale, Nevada for 17 years before moving to St.George, Utah 3 years ago. David is survived by his wife Elna Jean Neet of St. George, Utah. His Mother, Katherine Davida Stewart, of Springfield, Oregon, and four children: Kathie Ann(John) Umenhofer of Springfield, OR., Eric Nikanor Neet of Roseburg, OR., David Matthew( Rachael) Neet of Willis, TX, and Davida Elisa(Keith) Ball of St. George, UT. He also has 13 grandchildren.
David was preceded in Death by his father, Leonard Bernard Neet. He will be laid to rest in Springfield,Oregon at a later date.
