Before getting to the assembly, Wilson awarded $50 bills to 26 students that received perfect scores on their CRT’s. In the 8th grade three students had a perfect score in math and two in science. In 7th grade ten students had a perfect math score while one had a perfect reading score. In 6th grade nine students scored perfect in math and one in reading. All students accepted their crisp $50 bills with a smile.
Assistant Principal Hal Mortensen then introduced Probation Officer Christopher Witt who came from Las Vegas to be a guest speaker. Officer Witt is familiar with Moapa Valley as he handles juvenile cases here on a weekly basis. |
