He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kimberly Brown Bunker, and their four children: Bailey, Sierra, Jayden, and Jaxson. He is the oldest of five children: Scott, Jodi, Derek, and Travis.

Growing up he lived in Escondido, June Lake, San Marcos, and Valley Center, CA. Jamon graduated from Orange Glenn High School, where he earned varsity letters in basketball and volleyball. After high school Jamon served the people of Alberta, Canada for two years before beginning college in Utah. After two years of college and work, he moved to Las Vegas. He married Kimberly Brown and graduated from the police academy. When their family increased in size with the addition of two daughters, Jamon and Kim decided to change careers from the bicycle beat on the Strip to residential construction in St. George, UT.

Jamon went into business with a friend and together they built a successful construction company. During this time two more children were added to the family while living in Logandale, NV. After several years of self-employment, he continued his career in construction with Crisci Builders.

Jamon loved his family and is loved dearly by them. He was a kind, loyal, and thoughtful husband, father, son, brother, friend, uncle, nephew, cousin, and grandson. Most of his free time was spent supporting the activities and interests of his children. He lived an honest, faithful, and fun filled life. Jamon enjoyed time at the beach, in the mountains, on the lake, and trips to watch March Madness games. He enjoyed spending time and making memories with his family and friends.

  18. I will always be in the Jamon Fan Club because he is in mine— such a loyal friend and a good person! To Kim and your beautiful kids, our prayers are with you as you adjust to your Daddy being upgraded to guardian angel status. He will be truly missed but he’s okay. I know he will want for you to be assured that he will be with you in mighty spirit. To my Nedra, and all the Bunkers, I love you all and send the tightest of hugs. #BAMM

Just found out about this tragic loss. Way too young. Jamon was a big guy in stature but his heart was even bigger. Our Elders Quorom President and our home teacher. What a great servant, husband, father and friend. He will be remembered with love. So sorry for this loss.

  20. Jamon, I enjoyed playing basketball with you snd Scott in San Marcos Second Ward. You will be missed. You are a great man.
May God be with your wife and kids everyday.

  21. Kim and family, our heart aches for you. We have such love and respect for you. We are grateful for the exceptional examples you were to our family while we were neighbors. Jamon truly is an example of what we all hope to become. Darren and our boys have great memories of working with Jamon on service projects, young men activities and other activities within the ward. He seemed to always be where help was needed. His positive and willing attitude is infectious and we are all better people for knowing him.
    We love you.
The Darren and Reggi Brown Family
