InfoWest will be holding its annual backpack and school supplies giveaway event at its Overton office at 196 S. Moapa Valley Blvd on Friday, July 12 from 12-2 pm.

“In keeping with our deep-rooted commitment to community engagement and support, InfoWest is honored to provide students with the necessary tools to thrive academically,” said Kelly Nyberg, CEO of InfoWest. “Our annual backpack giveaway not only equips students with essential supplies but also reinforces our dedication to their academic success.”

InfoWest employees will be present to distribute backpacks and school supplies. Additionally, the Taco and Salsas food truck will be on-site! The first 100 InfoWest customers (kids or adults) will receive a free lunch courtesy of InfoWest.

“InfoWest has been giving back to the community through backpacks and school supplies for seven years now,” said Josh Kaneversky, Director of Residential Sales and Marketing at InfoWest. “Giving back to the community is what InfoWest is about.”

InfoWest will have 200 backpacks for local kids, each loaded with paper, pens, pencils, and other supplies from their teachers’ list for back-to-school.

During the event, parents can have Xtreme Stitch & Print LLC, located right next door, embroider their children’s names on the backpacks, courtesy of InfoWest!
“The backpacks are geared towards kids aged 8-12,” said Kaneversky. “Last year, we almost ran out. So brave the heat and bring your kids early to get in line.”
