Mammovan offering mammography screenings

Mammography screenings are primarily for women over age 40 and older; however, screenings will be provided to those younger than 40 that have a screening referral from a provider.

Pre-screening for any COVID-10 related symptoms will occur inside the clinic prior to entering the Mammovan.

Annual Alumni Game against MVHS baseball team, at the MVHS ball field.

Free to attend.

Concession stand open selling hamburgers, hot dogs and more.

Also available for purchase are t-shirts and raffle tickets.

Mesquite Community Education Foundation ‘South of the Border’ Dinner.

Tickets available now, E25 per plate or $35 per couple.

Purchase at Mesquite Tec Center, VVHS administrative office, Rooster Cottage Consignment, Danielle’s Chocolates or any MCEF board member.

All proceeds go to Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue.

The Auxiliary to VFW Elwood Perkins Post 8336 will be hosting an open house and dinner on St Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm at the Post Home located at 324 Whitmore in Overton.

Dinner of corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes will be served starting at 4:30 until the food runs out.
There will be information on VA benefits, what the VFW Auxiliary can do to help local veterans and their caregivers in the Moapa Valley community, VFW Auxiliary programs and coloring activities for the kids.

All are invited for an evening of camaraderie and good food.
