VFW Post 8336 and American Legion Post 75 sponsor the parade which begins at 10 a.m. sharp. Staging takes place near the North Shore Inn beginning at 9 a.m. All scouts are encouraged to meet in the Overton Library parking lot to march in the parade.
Applications to participate in the parade are available at The Front Porch flower shop, and should be turned in by Friday afternoon.
Immediately following the parade will be the Veteran’s Day picnic at the Overton Park. All in the community are invited.

The Nevada POPS Orchestra, backed with a 32-piece orchestra and vocalist Steve Lippia will be performing with a touch of Sinatra and music that crosses the generations.
The event starts at 6 p.m. with a vendor village and DJ.
The orchestra will perform at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9 p.m.
Family friendly event. Guests encouraged to bring their own chairs to the viewing area.
