Mesquite’s Desert Dames are sponsoring a one-of-a-kind fashion show luncheon this year, “Ooh, La, La!, featuring Parisian fashion by Anne Fontaine of Las Vegas.
The buffet luncheon and fashion show is Wednesday, November 1 at the CasaBlanca Resort Conference Room. Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch begins at noon. Tickets are $40 per person. This public event is open to all who want to have lunch and enjoy a fashion show, and is the main membership drive for the group.
The Rotary Clubs and Eureka Community Initiative invite children to a Story Walk on Saturday, Nov. 11. The path will begin near the Mesquite Rec Center and end in the park lot behind the Mesquite Library.
