The Rotary Clubs and Eureka Community Initiative invite children to a Story Walk on Saturday, Nov. 11. The path will begin near the Mesquite Rec Center and end in the park lot behind the Mesquite Library.

Served after the Veterans Day Parade
Instead of taking place at the Overton Park as is customary, the community will instead gather at the Clark County Fairgrounds. The food for the picnic will be provided by the Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce. Hamburgers will be grilled up by members of the Moapa Valley Rotary Club and served to the public by volunteers from the FFA Moapa Valley Chapter.
Virgin Valley residents are being encouraged to mark their calendars early for the fourth annual Veterans Party on Veterans Day, November 11 from 2-5:30 pm at the Mesquite Rec Center. It is to be a tribute 1950’s sock hop to raise money for the Mesquite Veterans Center.
