Moapa Valley Progress
For the last few months, there has been a new and interesting business servicing the Moapa Valley. The business is called Pooh Scoopers, and they are not a plumbing service. Moapa Valley residents who have one or two animals living in their yard and are too busy to clean up after them, can look to Pooh Scoopers for help.
Pooh Scoopers employee and Logandale resident, Jaylene Monjaras has kept the business going from its founding. For years, Monjaras has worked with animals and has developed a rapport with all of her client’s and their pets. According to Monjaras, she always brings treats for the animals and they are always excited to see her coming.
The human clients are also certainly excited to see Monjaras come as she is taking care of a problem that many people leave undone.
The cost of the first Pooh Scoopers visit depends on the condition of the yard. After the first visit, the cost for the services is $40 per month. Monjaras reports that business in Moapa Valley has been slow in the initial months. Currently the company only has one client in the Valley. According to Monjaras, most of the business has been in Mesquite and Bunkerville. But the company is steadily gaining more clients, she said.
Pooh Scoopers is a licensed and insured locally-owned business and is available seven days a week.
