Teenage students are invited to attend the third annual Discover Your Future camp, an experience of college life in four various job skills, from June 15-19 at the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
Students statewide, ages 14 to 19, are encouraged to attend and learn about different fields of study like science, communication, technology and engineering. Along with experiencing a college education, students will participate in multiple fun activities like swimming, climbing wall, barbeque and a college share fair. A GPS scavenger hunt at Rancho San Rafael Park is also planned. You do not have to be a current or former member of 4-H to attend. Early-bird registration lasts until May 2 and the cost is $180 per student. The registration deadline is May 16 and the cost is $190. Registration includes housing for four nights, meals and event and activity expenses. Travel to Reno is not included.
