Florence Elizabeth Bohannon, age 86, went home to be re-united with her husband of 43 years, Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born September 28, 1921 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Clarence Pennington and Letha Victoria McLain Huff. On April 4, 1940 she married Mervin Herbert Bohannon in Mission, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1983.
She temporarily leaves behind her precious daughter, Vicki LaDuke of Overton, three sons and daughters in law: Melvin (Mabel) of TX; Ray (Beverly) in FL; Alan (Jamie) in AR; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending and will be private. Cremated remains will be sent to Texas for burial. Arrangements under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary, 702 398-3600.
