	MV Should Not Be Overlooked

	*To the Editor:* As a candidate for county commissioner in District A, I pledge to do everything I can to ensure that the CSN branch at Logandale remains open. After reading the story in the Las Vegas Sun (July 13), I am appalled that we have reached a point in our finances in Southern Nevada that we would even consider closing an education outpost when the cost of keeping it open is as little as $58,000 a year. Surely we can find the money somewhere in the budget to keep Logandale alive as an option for the residents of Moapa Valley. The Christy campaign made a swing through the valley last week and we think the many gracious foks who live there should not be overlooked.
