Registration time has come again for the Clark County Parks & Rec Kids Korner Learning Center. Open registration will begin Aug 4 and run until Sept 5 at the Parks & Rec office at 1301 West Whipple in Logandale. Registration can also be done online at www.accessclarkcounty.com.
Classes will start on Sept 9. There will be six session. Classes will be held Tues/Thur from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for 3-4 yr olds and 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. 4-5 yr olds at the Kids Korner located at 320 North Moapa Valley Blvd.
Registration fee is $90.00 every six weeks, this includes a snack. Your child must be potty trained to attend school.
Open House will be Aug 26, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the preschool. Come visit the school and meet the teachers. Please bring to the open house a copy of Birth Certificate, and shot record.
Kids Korner has been open since 1996 with the Director/Teacher Mary Jean Carson teaching for 12 years.
The 3-4 yr old class spends time learning to socialize with others, sharing, being a line leader, singing, practicing writing their name, with an introduction to the alphabet. They enjoy reading and listening to stories, and participating in small craft projects along with many more activities.
Our 4-5 yr old class spends time socializing, sharing, singing, learning to be a line leader, participating in drama and science activities, making craft items, preparing for Kindergarten, by writing their names, learning shapes, colors, numbers, and counting in three languages, listening to and reading stories, and learning how to be responsible for themselves.
