Local Children To Be Featured In “Red Riding Hood”

The Moapa Valley Performing Arts Council is excited to present the Missoula Children’s Theatre as they perform Red Riding Hood. There will be two performances on Saturday, March 28. The first will be at 2:00 p.m. with a a second performance at 6:00 p.m.. Both performances will take place at the Old Logandale School building.

This performance of Red Riding Hood should appeal to all ages as local children will put their acting skills to the test for the audience. Children ages kindergarten through 12th grade took part in auditions earlier this week and have been working extremely hard all week to ensure a great performance.

Pierce Kirk in last year’s Missoula performance of “Little Mermaid”, Pierce was an adorable sea horse. Missoula Children’s Theatre will be returning this week with two performances on Saturday.
The Arts Council wasn’t sure it would be able to bring Missoula Children’s Theatre to Moapa Valley this year due to a funding shortage. The show was in high demand so the Board decided to bring Missoula anyway, as they say, “the show must go on”. Donations at the door would be greatly appreciated and helpful.

Tickets prices for the evening are $5 for adults, $3 for students/seniors and $15 for a family. To purchase tickets ahead of time or for more information can contact Robin Maughan at 398-3655.
