| Alecia Lynn Briggs, daughter born to James Evert Briggs and Karen Reed Briggs on May 25, 1981, passed away Sunday May 31, 2009 at her home in Murray, Utah.
Alecia attended Timpview High School in Provo and subsequently married in Provo. She was the mother of two children, Abby and Aiden, who were the loves of her life. Her children were the most important thing in her life and she demonstrated that in unselfishly securing their future with an adoptive family in the last few months of her life. |

| Alecia loved to read and write poetry, and had a special affinity for American Sign Language. She was a very social person and made friend easily. She was an outgoing, giving and compassionate friend and mother.
Alecia is survived by her parents, her siblings, Krista Leann Martinez, and Brandon Thorley Briggs, her children and many close family and friends. We will miss her and always love her.
