Getting a car wash has never been easier or more convenient. A new business has started up in Moapa Valley that brings a full service car wash and auto detailing service right to the customer.
The Executive Auto Spa began operating on July 15 and is already doing a brisk business in the community, according to business owner/manager Jeremy Woodford.
Woodford’s business is always on the move with a truck and a fully equipped trailer. On board is a 500 gallon water tank with a pressure washer, steam cleaner, carpet/uphostery steamer, waxes, buffers and any other car care equipment you can think of. He can bring the car wash right to your car wherever it may be if at home or at work or, in many cases, while you are shopping locally.
And Woodford makes a point of using all eco-friendly and bio-degradable chemicals and materials in his operation. “It is a full-service car wash gone green,” he says with a smile.
Back around the beginning of this year, Woodford said he was thinking of business ideas that would work well in the Moapa Valley.
“I sat with my friend and we made a list of things that this community needs,” he said.
Mobile auto detailing was one of those ideas. “There is a limit to where you can go here to get a car wash,” Woodford said. “A lot of people in town have lifted trucks and duellies; stuff that is modified from factory. It’s dangerous to take those things through an automatic car wash.”
Woodford said that his goal was to provide a full mobile car wash service that would be price competitive with any brick and mortar car wash service out there. He provides a full exterior wash for most vehicles for $15. For both interior and exterior the cost is $30.
He doesn’t cut corners. After Woodford is finished, vehicles come out spit-shined sparkling on the outside and spic and span on the inside.
Executive Auto Spa also provides more extensive detailing service as well. An Extreme Outside wash including wax, buffing and tire shine costs $60. For the same price Woodford offers and Extreme Interior clean which includes steam cleaning carpets, vinyl and upholstery. “When we are finished with that, your car comes out looking like it did when it was brand new,” Woodford said.
Other services offered are engine degreasing, trailer washes, oxidation removal, headlight lens renewal and even tractor and equipment cleaning.
Woodford, who grew up in the Moapa Valley and graduated from MVHS in 2007, said he knows the community well and looks forward to serving his friends. neighbors and other valley residents. He is happy to take regular customers who want to schedule a car wash on an ongoing basis. He is also happy to schedule appointments with customers at any time. “I’ve had a lot of people come up to me while I’m doing a car and ask if I’d do theirs as well,” he said. “So I guess walk-ins are welcome too.”
