Mary A. Premo, 102, a long-time resident of Moapa, passed away July 15, 2010, two weeks after her house burned to the ground in the Moapa/Warm Springs wildfire.
She was born June 23, 1908 in Morris, IL and grew up in Blue Island, IL. She married her husband Norman Premo in 1931. They were married 65 years and raised four children.
They retired to Moapa in 1978 with their handicapped daughter Lynne.
Mary will be greatly missed by all who loved her for her bright spirit and love of life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman, in 1996. Survivors include four children, Donna Grandchamp and Lorell Leppin of IL, Norman Premo Jr. of Wyoming and Lynne Premo of Moapa Valley; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to an account set up for Lorell Leppin at Bank of America. This will help take care of Lynne Premo.
