Overton Lin’s Marketplace is hosting an afternoon Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 29 from noon to 4:00 pm. Children of the community, who will be enjoying a day off from school for Nevada Day weekend, along with their parents, are invited to come for and afternoon of Halloween fun.
The store will be closing of the northwest portion of corner of its parking lot for the trunk or treat event. Children will be able to go from trunk to trunk gathering treats.
Community members and business owners are encouraged to come and provide trunks for the event. “It will be a great event for the kids and the community. Any business is more than welcome to hand out flyers or any other advertising feature for their business. Lins will provide two bags of Childs Play candy for each participant.”
Additional candy may be purchased specifically for the event at a discount.
While the trunk or treat is going on outside, a variety of games, treats and activities will await kids and parents alike inside the store.
