Samuel and Lisa Kamoe are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Amber PuaOlena Kimie, to Brent William Yamashita, son of Wesley Yamashita and Bonnie Yamashita, on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in the Draper Utah LDS Temple. An Open House will be held in their honor at the Yamashita home, 1695 N. Whitmore St., in Overton, on June 18, from 1-4 pm.
Amber was a 2002 graduate of Timpanogos High School in Orem, Utah. She attended Brigham Young University before serving a mission to Japan for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon her return she completed her studies at BYU, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health. She currently is employed at Sandy Health and Rehabilitation, in Sandy, Utah.
Brent is a 2001 graduate of Moapa Valley High School in Overton, Nevada. He attended Brigham Young University and then served an LDS mission to Mexico. He finished his studies at BYU, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Brent is currently employed at Intermountain Healthcare, in Orem, Utah.
The couple will be making their home in Sandy, Utah.
