Tyler and Lindsey Nelson would like to announce the birth of their first son born July 2, 2011.

Carter Tyler Nelson weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 19 1/2 inches.

Grandparents are Denise Benedict of Las Vegas, Keith Kangas of Michigan and Rodney and Kathy Nelson of Overton.
