OBITUARY: Joseph Kramer

Joseph Kramer

Joseph Wesley Staley Patterson Kramer was born January 22, 1938 in Salt Lake City to Blenn Case Patterson and Wesley Staley Patterson who had two children, Joe and his sister Peggy. He was baptized L.D.S.

He entered the Navy in 1955 and was honorably discharged in 1959. He worked at Eimco and Hercules. After becoming an electronic technician, he worked for the National Guard, Forest Service, FBI, and G.S.A. He retired in 1995.

He Married Sandra Johnson and had three kids: Dana, Kelly and Todd. He later married Linda Jones Matkin in 1974 who had two kids: Jenny and Layne.

Joe and Linda share 15 Grandkids and 5 great grandkids. Joe had 1 brother and 3 sisters and is preceded in death by his mother, father, sister Peggy, and son Todd. He was a special delight to all his grandchildren and will be sorely missed.

Of his life, Joe says he loved all and felt loved by all. Joe said “I’m dying a happy camper.” On May 28, 2012 he passed peacefully, with his loving wife Linda by his side. Funeral services will be held on June 16 at sunrise (5:30am) on the top of Mormon Mesa, Overton Nevada. Dress will be casual – levis and ball caps.

A very grateful thanks to the staff of Hospice. With kindness and loving care they made a painful process bearable.
