Now, before we even start, I’ll preface my remarks by stating this: I know this article will get at least one rebuttal, as well as several stand-and-talks at the post office and in the store. I want you all to know I don’t mind at all.
Gay marriage–or as some of us now call it ‘marry whomever or whatever you want’ –up to, and maybe including, your Ford Focus. It’s all legal. What else did any of us expect. I mean really. The Democrat Circuit Courts have been mandating against the voting public who have outlawed these behaviors over the past few years. And we now have a Supreme Court that is so stacked leaning to the left, I don’t know how a few of them keep from falling over.
Who didn’t see this coming? What it means to me is that another far-reaching yet short-sighted decision has been made by a small powerful group, who don’t represent most of us. And we can’t fix it.
But no matter how much damage this will do to many who will fall into this trap because they don’t see the larger picture, neither the ruling nor its proponents can harm my own personal marriage.
It is unconstitutional, or extraconstitutional, (i.e. not mentioned at all in our Constitution). Another example of Big Brother deciding immorality in an attempt to legislate morality.
This is not the first time our governing people have made rules intentionally to destroy a little piece of us, claiming it is for our own good, and it won’t be the last. Go kiss your spouse.
