LETTER: Northeast Clark County Land Not Federal Land

I am writing regarding a headline in the PROGRESS “BLM Returns To Northeast Clark County” published on June 22 which refers to BLM’s return to managing federal lands.
This is fine and okay with “We the people” and Cliven D. Bundy. We do not know of any federal land on Bundy Ranch area.

Two years ago we protested Clark County Sheriff to protect our life, liberty and property and asked him to disarm the Bureaucrat Army BLM-NPS. He did order the federal bureaucrats to leave Clark County. One hundred and seven vehicles entered I-15 north carrying the Bureaucrat Army.

For over 2 years Northeast Clark County Bundy Ranch has enjoyed being the freest land in America under the jurisdiction, policing and arresting power of Clark County Sheriff. To my knowledge there have been hundreds of visitors, campers, hunters, off-roaders, site-seers and cattlemen. We all have enjoyed and used this land without one picnic to be ruined or disturbed. (Thank you, Overton Metro Substation!).

Moapa Valley PROGRESS Editor, We the People have put our lives on the line. Over 30 patriots are political prisoners. We have wives and babes with broken hearts. It is hard without freedom to support and love our families. We will not allow your local newspaper to call N.E. Clark County NV land, Federal Land!

We live in a choice land, America, with a divine inspired Constitution (the Supreme law of the land). This Constitution does not allow U.S. Central Government to own land, only land purchased from a Sovereign State.

Con. Art. 1:8-17. Con. Art. IV:3 – give the People’s Congress unlimited power over Territories. Congress used this power, disposed of NV Territory. In 1864 President Lincoln in the Nevada Statehood Address added Nevada Territory as a Sovereign State, with equal footing, with the original 13 states.

Bundy Ranch area was never a part of Nevada Territory. It was Paiute County, Arizona Territory. The 1866 Act of Congress transfered Bundy Ranch area to State of Nevada from Arizona Territory.
This is land owned by the people of Clark County, Nevada.

A few days ago in jail and across this great land, we celebrated Independence Day. Our founding fathers fought against Central Government, Great Britain having the largest army on the earth. Then they established the U.S. Constitution. PROGRESS readers and we political prisoners will never allow a Central Government to exercise unlimited power.

My love for you friends,
Cliven D. Bundy
