Local Kids Encouraged To Enter Coloring Contest For Prizes

Being able to win great prizes just for coloring a picture seems like every young kid’s dream. But that dream has come true for local kids because of one business in downtown Overton.
The Overton office of Infowest has been holding a kids coloring contest this month. There are great prizes at stake and there are only a few days left to enter!
“The contest is just for fun and it is only being held in the Overton office of Infowest,” said Janice Hardy of Infowest. “The corporate office in St. George was looking for a way to be more personal in reaching out to their unique Moapa Valley customers. We suggested that the community’s children are very important to us here. So they came up with this fun contest to involve the kids.”

The contest starts with kids getting their hands on a copy of the official Infowest color page. The page shows a pair of daring “Superheroes Of The Internet.”
This picture was printed earlier this month in the PROGRESS. But it is also available online by going to www.infowest.com/pumpkin where it can be printed. Children can also obtain a print copy of the picture by dropping in at the Infowest Overton office at 196 S. Moapa Valley Blvd.
Once kids have the picture, they can add a touch of their own creativity. All they have to do is color it. Using crayons or whatever other media they wish, they can add full color to this exciting graphic. Creativity is encouraged.
Then the completed picture must be returned back to the Overton Infowest office sometime before this Monday, October 31.

“People do not need to be an Infowest customer to enter the contest,” Hardy said. “And I promise I am not even going to try and sell them anything. It is just meant to be something fun for the kids and something fun for us.”
Each child who brings in their colored picture will receive a special treat just for entering. Then, on Halloween, a drawing will be held to determine the grand prize winner. The grand prize is a $25 Amazon Gift card. Contestants need not be present to win.
“It is a cool prize because then the winner can go online and pick out their own prize, whatever they want to spend it on,” Hardy said. “Or it could be a little extra Christmas present shopping money for them.”
