Benefit Event To Be Held To Help Logandale Family

The Justin Hardy family of Logandale is struggling at this time as husband and father Justin has been diagnosed with M.S. A fundraising event will be held to help the family on Friday evening, March 23 in the Old Overton Gym. All are welcome.

Logandale resident, Justin Hardy, a young husband and father, was recently diagnosed with advanced and aggressive Multiple Sclerosis. Currently unable to work and now faced with the task of traveling to Las Vegas for monthly treatment infusions, his family and friends are asking the community to rally together to help this young family.

The Desert Dance Academy in Overton is putting together a Fitness-A-Thon fundraiser to help ease the financial burden now placed on the Hardy family.

The fundraiser event will take place on Friday evening, March 23, from 5-7 pm at the Old Overton Gym near the Mack Lyon Middle School. The entrance fee to the event is $12 and it will be an open house style event. Members of the public can come and go as they please and enjoy classes in Kickboxing, High Fitness, Barre, Hip Hop Cardio, and Zumba. Classes will be held throughout the entire two hours.

There will also be an auction and a raffle going on. Auction items and prizes will range from gas cards to hair products; cinnamon rolls to handmade dolls. All items have been donated from local businesses as well as friends and family. All proceeds will go directly to the Hardy family.

All are invited! And attendees are not obligated to participate in any of the fitness aspect of the fundraiser in order to attend and support the Hardy family.
“Please just come support Justin and his family with a smile and a small donation,” said Lauren Nelson, one of the event organizers.

Donations can also be made at America First Credit Union under the Justin Hardy Charitable Account #9100181.

If you have any questions or would like to help in any way please contact Ashley Bowler 702-523-6025 or Lauren Nelson at 702-373-6637.

  1. You might have better success with a gofundme account as well. I see more people donate that way vs going to a bank. Just a thought. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
