OBITUARY: Donald Tudor

Donald Tudor

Donald C. Tudor passed away on July 13, 2018, losing his battle with cancer. He was born November 12, 1941, in Oroville, California to John Arlis (Art) and Kathleen (Connie Sill) Tudor.

He lived, grew up and graduated from Biggs High School in Biggs, California. Don enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1960 where he proudly served aboard U.S.S. Lexington in Viet Nam to December 1962, prior to the official Police Action, where he was wounded. After leaving the service, he worked in the electrical and electronics field to ultimately join the Federal Civil Service until his departure in life.

He loved nature, fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening and raising animals. Most of all he loved and was so proud of his five children, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Don is survived by his loving family: wife Diana Tudor; sons: DeWayne (Lynn) of Marysville, CA, Timothy (Danielle) of Marysville, CA and Todd (Dara) of Mililani, HI; daughters: Victoria of Marysville, CA and Heather Woods of Logandale, NV; grandchildren: Orey (Elese) Woods, Tryston (Haley) Woods, Alex Tudor, Issy Tudor, Sebastian Tudor, Taryn Watanabe, Lukas Tudor, Isaac Tudor and Liana Tudor; and great-grandchildren: Aria Woods, Destry Woods and Sloane Woods.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ronald and Jerry Tudor.

Don will be cremated and his ashes to be distributed around his favorite location in Washington State. He requests for friends and family to mourn him in their own way, privately.

Don was very much loved by all and will be well remembered. To Fond Memories and Eternal Love…Rest in peace “Popeye.”
