This “Wonderful Time of the Year” will be shared with the community on Saturday, Dec. 7 with the annual Zephyr Christmas Concert. Once again the walls of the Old Logandale School will vibrate with the stories of Christmas as told through music. This free concert will begin at 7 P.M.
In addition to the Zephyr Singers joyfully singing the promises of Christmas, they will be joined by the Recorder Consort and the Bell Choir ringing in the Christmas Season.
The stories of the three kings following the “Star of Glory” to find the “Love that Came Down at Christmas” will help to brighten the promise of the season.
This music also will be shared by the musicians on December 5 at the St. George Tabernacle at 7 p.m. MST.
This is a time to put your cares behind you, take a deep breath , sit back and remember the promise and the love of the season. Zephyr conductor Gaye Nelson of Logandale has brought together these local musicians to share their joy of the season through music.
All are invited to attend the concerts at both locations.
This concert is sponsored in part by the Moapa Valley Performing Arts Council, Individual Partners for the Arts which include Nevada Arts Council, America First Credit Union, Grant and Laurel Bushman, Moapa Valley Telephone Company, Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Board of County Commissioners.
