Overton Realtor Opens Second Location

By NICK YAMASHITA

The Progress

Clea’s Fabulous Moapa Valley Realty has opened a new second location in Logandale.

Local real estate professional, Clea Whitney has opened a second office in Logandale.

So now, in addition to the Clea’s Fabulous Moapa Valley Realty office located across from the post office in Overton, a new office has been opened in the Green Valley Plaza at 1925 N. Moapa Valley Blvd in Logandale.

The office opened on Saturday, May 23. In an interview last week, Whitney said that she was excited to have the new location in operation.
“This has been in the works for a while now,” Whitney said. “We started remodeling the new location back at the beginning of the year.”

Many in town will remember Whitney’s new location as the former storefront of Tiffany’s Pies and Subs. The sandwich shop closed its doors at the end of 2016. Since then the location has been vacant.

The building is currently owned by Green Valley Grocery. “It took a while to work things out with the owner,” Whitney said. “But after much work, we were able to work out a deal and I’m now able to open the doors for service.”

Whitney revealed that her office location in Henderson is closed. All of her agents, except three, are working in the Moapa Valley now.

“We were outgrowing our office in Overton,” Whitney said. “So we knew we needed another place. We have a potential of three new agents that will be joining our realty agency.”

Whitney guaranteed that there will be someone at the new office every day. Real estate professional Kasen Kolhoss will be one of the agents moving to the Logandale office and who will present to serve customers there. Like the Overton location, office hours will vary somewhat. But they guarantee to be available all days by phone and during daytime hours at the office.

“We are excited as we are now moving again in sales and service,” Whitney said. “The phasing out of the quarantine is helping bring back sales and we are finding new customers and more interest in people buying homes and moving out here.”

Whitney noted that local realtors are seeing what she calls “spring sales” coming around. They were delayed, of course. But they are still coming, she said.

“It is nice to see more customers and more people back interested in the real estate market,” Whitney said.

There are plans for a grand opening celebration soon. But due to continued social distancing recommendations, Whitney has decided to hold off until a more full celebration is possible. But planning is still underway and Whitney said that more information will come as those plans are finalized and scheduled.

Whitney expressed gratitude to everyone who has supported her and to her agents. “We really appreciate all of the support and love we receive from our customers and from the community,” she said. “We invite those who would like to come and visit us in person at our new office. We hope to be able to continue to serve the community and our customers.”
