The Casablanca Resort Event Center in Mesquite will be hosting its 3rd Annual Spring Bazaar, on April 16 from 10 am-4 pm. Admission is only $1 plus a canned good which will benefit the Salvation Army Food Bank.
Exhibitors, family members, buyers and bystanders trudged through wind, rain, thunder, hail and even snow on Saturday to attend the Clark County Junior Livestock Association (CCJLA) annual auction at the Clark County Fair. And despite economic conditions which have proven just as glum as the weather that day, all of the animals found buyers.

As I approached the Fairgrounds on Thursday, April 7, a burst of wind and a cloud of dust enveloped me. As I swirled about and finally let it carry me, I ended up in a magical building and found the Land of Oz! The Fine Arts Building had been transformed into a wondrous land of color, sight and sound.
The 2011 Cinderella Pageant was held on Thursday evening, April 7 as part of the Clark County Fair. Normally, this event is held at the Midway Stage at the Logandale Fairgrounds, but this year it was moved to the Old Logandale School because of high winds Thursday that threatened to bring down the Midway Stage tent.
