Boulder City – The Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City will host a special excursion ride, “The Great Train Robbery of the Nevada Southern Railway” on Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26. Trains depart at 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm.
Members from the Guns of the Roundtable, costumed in Wild West attire, will “hold up” the trains of the Nevada Southern Railway on this special excursion. The heist will be complete with mock gunfire and general merriment.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City’s Ticket Office on Saturdays and Sundays as well as the day of the event. Fares are $10 for adults 12 and over, $5 for children ages four through 11 and free for children under four.
This event is being brought back by popular demand after it was originally held in April, at which time it sold out. Riders are encouraged to arrive early or purchase tickets in advance.
Riders are advised that there will be mock gunfire outside the train in the spirit of the Great Train Robbery reenactment.
