Lost City Exhibit Features Ann Hoff

The Lost City Museum presents the printmaking and drawings of Ann Hoff in a special exhibit running throughout the month of September.

Hoff is a professor of printmaking and drawing at the College of Southern Nevada. Her work is in several university, museum and corporate collections locally and nationally.
Hoff is an expert in capturing the sweeping forms of weathered stone, stunning vistas and isolated, pristine locales. She works through the use of complex line and sculptural form.

“I wish the viewer to share the dizzying, overwhelming sense of visual immensity, the clarity of air, the tactile sharpness of stone, the visual song of fluidity in the lines of the landscape,” Hoff said.

The Lost City Museum is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Admission is $5, children 17 and younger and members enter free. For more information, call the museum at (702) 397-2193 or visit Facebook.
