New Mesquite business owner Robert “Bo” Bobrowski celebrated the opening of his new UPS shipping franchise store located at 550 W Pioneer Blvd on Monday, April 14.
“Things have been great!” Bobrowski said of store operations since the grand opening. “We’re the only corporate store here in Mesquite.”

Bobrowski said that there are UPS package drop boxes around town but that his store offers much more than just shipping. Other services include faxes, printing, notary public services, mailboxes and more.
Regarding available mailboxes Bobrowski said that anyone is welcome to them and that they are ideal for business owners, seasonal residents or even people going on an extended vacation who don’t want mail or packages being delivered to their homes while they are away.

“We accept all packages and deliveries,” he said. “Come down and visit us and pick out a size.”
Mailboxes can be purchased for three, six and 12 month periods and can be accessed 24/7 with the use of a key fob. Those interested in purchasing a mailbox should provide a valid government ID as well as one second form of identification such as vehicle registration, Bobrowski said.

Because the franchise is part of the UPS corporation it provides guaranteed shipping with confirmation and tracking. There is currently no UPS pickup on Saturdays, but Bobrowski is hoping that will change with the addition of the franchise.

Bobrowski recently moved to Mesquite from the Salt Lake Valley with his wife to open the UPS franchise.
“We live here and are vested in the community,” he said, adding that he has wanted to relocate to Mesquite for quite some time.

He welcomes members of the community to stop by the store to meet him.
“We’d love to meet everyone,” he said. “We’ll do the best we can to make everyone happy.”

Store hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
