A Community Choir and Orchestra will ring in the Christmas Season once again with Handel’s beloved “Messiah.” This year’s concert will be held on Sunday, December 16.
But in an attempt to involve more members of the community in this year’s performance, rehearsals will begin earlier this year. A special invitation is extended to community singers and musicians who would like to be a part of this exhilarating oratorio. Rehearsals for the choir will be held Sunday, October 14 and Sunday, November 4 at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logandale chapel, across from the Logandale park. Orchestra rehearsals will be held Sunday, October 21 and Sunday, November 18 at 7 p.m. in the same location.
Combined rehearsals for both choir and orchestra will be held at the Old Logandale School on Tuesday, December 11 and Saturday, December 15.
This is a community effort to bring the true story of this holiday through its hustle and bustle. “Rejoice Greatly” and join the musicians in re-telling this story. You are invited to join the rehearsals.
