OBITUARY: Leo Livingston

Leo Livingston

Leo Joseph Livingston, Sr., age 73, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at his home in Overton, Nevada. He was born Januay 28, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan to Joyce Elaine Manor. On May 16, 1964 he married Marlene Frances Rose in Disco, Michigan.

Leo was raised by his grandparents, with aunts and uncles near his same age in Saginaw. He had a great childhood. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He raised his family in Michigan working as a painter. In 1982 he relocated to Texas until he relocated to Las Vegas in 1988 to be closer to his in-laws.

He moved back home to Saginaw for a couple years, then relocated to Overton in 2007. He enjoyed snow mobiling, ice fishing, fishing on Lake Mead, tinkering in his shop and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his sweetheart, Marlene of Overton, NV; three sons and two daughters: Leo Jr. (Katie) of Birchrun, MI, Cory (Cheryl) of Eugene, OR, Francis (James) of Moapa, NV, Christopher (Sari) of Denver, CO and Linda (Eric) Montgomery of Winchester, CA; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; mother, Joyce Manor of Prescott, MI and two sisters (aunts): Edith Myers and Charlotte Booth both of Saginaw, MI.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Mead Baptist Church in Overton, Nevada.
