In 1992 I voted for Ross Perot. I was frustrated with both political parties and I voted for something different. Nearly 20 million people voted the same way. The result was eight years of Bill and Hillary Clinton in the White House.
Twenty-six years later I’m even more frustrated with both parties. I believe both have become seriously corrupted.
I don’t know Ryan Bundy. I agree with his support for state sovereignty and opposition to federal overreach. I appreciate his passion. I have nothing against him. But if voting for him results in Steve Sisolak becoming our governor, I think Nevada will suffer.
I believe in conservative values. I took an oath years ago to support and defend the Constitution. Whatever gripe we have with the two-party stranglehold on American politics, let’s not let that frustration cut off our nose to spite our face.
Adam Laxalt is a good choice for governor.
