LETTER: Thin the crow population

I have lived in Logandale for 14 years. The last several years, I have noticed the crow population growing.

A few weeks ago, I was out by the reservoir, and noticed two crows harrassing and driving a hawk.

A few days ago I notice a few crows harrassing and driving off a turkey buzzard.
I have also read where crows will kill baby desert tortoises.

I do not normally hunt, but I would appeal to local hunters to help thin the crow population to protect our native species.
