PCH World To Hold Grand Opening For New Showroom

Polaris World, the OHV dealership just across the Arizona border from Mesquite, has finally finished construction on its new showroom. On the weekend of March 19-21, this growing local business will be holding a grand opening celebration like no other.

Actually, to set things straight, this dealership located at 991 Hillside Drive, just a few steps across the state line in Littlefield, has become more than just a Polaris dealer. One by one, the business has added more product lines to serve its customers. So the dealership has recently renamed itself to become Polaris/Can-Am/Honda (PCH) World. Everything from Polaris RZRs, Can-am ATVs, Honda road bikes and much more are available under one roof right here in the Mesquite area.

The dealership has a great lineup of activities planned for its grand opening weekend this month.
On March 19-20, the newly remodeled showroom will be open to all for the big celebration. Visitors can enjoy a free corn dog or cheese stick provided by The Corndog Company vendor truck between 11 am and 5 pm PDT.

Throughout those days, visitors can check out the new vehicles which the PCH World has in stock. And folks can even enter a free drawing for a chance to win a 2020 TRX250TM Honda ATV which will be given away at the end of the weekend.

On Saturday, Mar. 20, the store will team up with the local Kokopelli Riding Club for a series of guided trail rides through the area. These rides will be open to the public to participate. But registration is required. To register visit pch-world.com and click Dealer info>Events.

“The rides will go out in small tour groups only, in order to comply with health regulations and to stay COVID-friendly,” said PCH World owner Josh Wilson. “We plan to offer different rides of varying lengths and exploring a number of different trails, depending on what people want. How many rides we do, and their scheduling, will depend on how many people register and what interest we get.”

Then on Sunday, Mar. 21, the dealership will hold its third annual Off-Road Extravaganza event. This year, to stay within COVID guidelines, the event will be an outdoor tailgating party.

The Extravaganza will take place at The Smoking Gun Club at 970 Peppermill Palms Blvd in Littlefield. Beginning at noon, the event will feature tailgating party, free food and drinks, raffles, giveaways, T-shirts and much more.

“We will have all kinds of shenanigans going on that day,” Wilson said. “There will be a big motorcycle stunt show and Tanner Godfrey will do some jumps on a Polaris RZR.”

Godfrey, who is paralyzed from roughly the chest down, is a world record holder in UTV distance jumping and comes from the Nitro Circus “family”.

For the tailgating event, Wilson said that attendees can bring their own side-by-sides, ATVs or just “regular boring vehicles.”
“Bring a lawn chair and some shade for tailgating, too,” he said.

Josh, and his wife Tiffany, opened Polaris World in Littlefield back in 2012. But this local business is actually a branch of a much larger family business started by Tiffany’s dad, Ron Perry.

Perry started a small motorcycle dealership 45 years ago on Highland Drive in Salt Lake City. Since that time, the business has become the well-known Honda World which is now located in South Jordan, Utah.

“This is all just an extension of Honda World,” Josh said of the newly-renovated Littlefield showroom and dealership. “Ron started a small business years ago and turned it into a big enterprise. He is really the one that made this all possible.”
