Elks Lodge To Offer Scholarship Awards

The Mesquite Elks Lodge 2811 is offering five scholarships to graduating students of the Class of 2021.

Seniors at Beaver Dam, Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley High Schools are all eligible to apply for the scholarships.

These scholarships include two $1,000 academic awards, two $1,000 vocational awards and one $1,000 culinary award.

Elks Exalted Ruler Kris Weiland announced that application packets have been distributed to the counselors at each high school. Interested students should apply as soon as possible.

Applicants must show proof of enrollment at an institute of higher education. The deadline for application is May 1, 2021.

A representative of Lodge 2811 will present certificates to the scholarship winners at the appropriate awards ceremony of each high school.

Students may obtain application materials from the counselor at their respective high school.
