The College of Southern Nevada Mesquite Center is seeking a part time instructor to teach Phlebotomy beginning in the Fall 2021 semester. The short term training program consists of three courses: lecture, lab, and clinicals; that prepare students for a Phlebotomy certification.
The local part time instructor would be responsible for teaching the lab course at the College of Southern Nevada, Mesquite campus. The person would also be responsible for managing the student scheduling with Mesa View Hospital and for reporting for the clinical course.
Required qualifications include MLS, MLT or Phlebotomy national certification and one year phlebotomy or medical laboratory experience.
Additional preferred qualifications include experience using the Canvas Learning Management System and experience working with a diverse workforce and/or student body.
