The Southern Nevada Transit Coalition, also known as Silver Rider, is scheduled to receive new buses on June 11. To commemorate, anyone can ride for free all day on June 11.
Silver Rider introduced a new route on April 11: Route 444. Silver Rider has seen an increase of 1400 rides for Routes 333 and 444 in April alone. In May, drivers saw an increase of riders on Route 444 in Mesquite. Bus shelters for both routes should be installed on or about June 30.
Silver Rider will also be at the Mesquite Job Fair that is taking place on June 11 at the Mesquite Welcome Center from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., located at 460 N. Sandhill Blvd.
