Shaun Joseph Talbot, age 42, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home in Overton, Nevada. He was born on April 9, 1979 in St. George, Utah to Tyler Joseph Talbot and Vicki Elaine Shultz.

Shaun lived most of his life in Moapa Valley; earned his Eagle Scout, participated in high school rodeo and graduated from Moapa Valley High School in 1997. He worked as a mortgage broker for many years.

Shaun was an avid outdoors man with many interests. His happiest times were spent on the lake with his family and friends. He also enjoyed off-roading and team roping. He spent much of his spare time going on horseback rides with his dad. He was blessed with many friends that trusted him and enjoyed his generous, kind demeanor and his playful sense of humor. As one of his friends so kindly stated, “Shaun was an amazing, bright, funny, strong, loving, stubborn, wonderful man who brought nothing but love and laughter into so many people’s lives.”

Shaun is survived by his parents: Tyler (Caroline) Talbot of Logandale, and Vicki (Jeff) Bierstedt of Overton; his grandmothers: Belva Talbot of Overton and Mary Shultz of Las Vegas; his two children: Jordyn Nicole and Kayson Joseph, both of Logandale; his siblings: Taryn (Jestin) Waters of Overton and Done’e Talbot of Overton; and his niece and nephews: Colt, Blayke, Tayven, Reed and Brex; He also leaves behind his fiancé, Amanda Baker, as well as many relatives and close friends.

Shaun is preceded in death by his brother, Jace; grandfathers, Harvey Talbot, Vester Shultz, and Mel Kriegh; and his niece, Haylee Waters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hinckley Chapel, 1505 Hinckley Ave. in Logandale. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, and again from 9 – 9:45 prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
