Elks Treat VVLL Athletes To Lunch

The Mesquite Elks Lodge #2811 hosted a lunch for Mesquite Little League baseball players and their families on Saturday, June 5.

The luncheon was to honor the youngsters at the conclusion of th e 2021 Little League season.

The attendees were treated to sloppy joes, hot dogs and sweet treats at the Elks Lodge.

Ballplayers were also presented with raffle tickets and numbers were drawn for prizes. Thse prizes ranged from soccer balls to candy bars.

Exalted Ruler Kris Weiland hosted the party and served as Master of Ceremonies. He was ably assisted by other Members of the Elks who also prepared and served the food.

Parents of the Little League players expressed their appreciation for the support of the Lodge.
