Mr. Robison, you owe the other businesses on the main street of Overton an apology.
First of all BLP (CABLP) did not “rise from the ashes” as Sugar’s did not burn down. It maybe did rise from busted concrete.
Also, other businesses on the main street were built attractive and several are not so old but had to wait 2 to 4 years for permits and then wait for approvals.
Ask the medical building how long they had to wait to get approval.
When did you ever brag about McDonald’s, Lin’s, Maverik, the Senior Center blasting in to town? They too have nice buildings.

Editor’s note: A careful survey of our archives would show that we have “bragged about” every business in town when improvements or updates are made. In fact, we HAVE covered improvements to McDonalds, Lin’s, Maverik, the Senior Center and many more that are not mentioned in this letter over the years. So of course, we would cover the newest, and perhaps most talked about, addition to downtown Overton in more than a decade. That is what a good community newspaper does.
