Dola Davis
On Saturday, July 31, 2021, Dola Fern Guernsey Davis, mother of seven and teacher of hundreds, passed peacefully from this life, at the age of 98. At the time of her passing, she lived in Lehi, UT.
Dola was born on August 16, 1922, in Phillips County, CO, to Clarence and Mabel Guernsey.

The couple spent the early years of their marriage in Logan, UT, Homer, AK, and West Jordan, UT, before moving to Overton, NV, where Dola spent more than two decades as a much beloved kindergarten teacher – while she raised her seven children.
Dola was a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and she spent many years teaching and serving Primary children. Additional church work included diligent service as a visiting teacher, compassionate service leader, and temple worker. Dola often said that the years she and her husband spent working in the Las Vegas temple were some of the happiest of their married life.
