A time comes when listening to “popular media, government officials, and elected leaders,” that a small voice needs to speak.
Very soon, we (AMERICA) will abandon some of our citizens, military brothers and sisters in Afghanistan. I take no pleasure, no comfort, from this act, only grief and sorrow, for I have seen it before!
I’ve seen the same betrayal, and the same blaming everyone except themselves. This is nothing new. This is what WE do! History is looking us in the eye. Do not leave anyone behind!
As long as I can see MIA stickers for veterans abandoned fifty years ago, I know we are doing the same as then.
I remember our shame of abandoning our Soldiers in Vietnam!
