Registration is opening soon for the 17th annual Golf Fore Kids tournament in Mesquite. And participants are advised to act fast once the 2021 registration begins, because team slots fill up quickly. Tee times and sponsorship signups will open on October 1 and may be done at www.golfforekidsnv.org.
Golf Fore Kids has helped bring Christmas gifts to hundreds of local children each year and has raised approximately $675,000 in cash and toys over the past 16 years.
The 17th Annual Golf Fore Kids Tournament will be held on Thursday December 9. The 4-person scramble golf locations will be Falcon Ridge, Palms, Canyons, and Conestoga Golf Courses.
The entry fee for the tournament is a minimum of one $50.00 unwrapped toy per participant. Any and all other monies collected by the tournament committee will be donated to area families in need.
The toys will be distributed to local families by the Salvation Army, Mesquite Fire Department, Mesquite Police Department, and local schools in time for Christmas.
An after tournament banquet will be held at the Casablanca Event Tent. A huge raffle prize drawing will take place at the luncheon
“We are so excited about the upcoming 17th Annual Golf Fore Kids!” said local realtor Karen Fielding who serves on the Golf Fore Kids committee. “The community support for this event has been astounding, and we thank everyone who has participated and donated over the years to make this tournament possible. We hope to make this year our biggest event yet”
